Andi Jo Taylor is Ohio’s Princess of Country! When she’s not performing, you can find her starring in films, hopping on the local country radio station, and as a correspondent - “Thee Lady of Menace” - on the Menace 2 Sports podcast.
Andi Jo has never been one to shy away from performing, acting, or singing. When she was 7, she met her then vocal coach, local jazz legend, Jean Holden. Performing local recitals and pouring herself into musicals, prepared Andi for what was to come.
Through a local talent agency, Starbound Talent, Andi Jo was invited to compete at IMTA – one of the biggest modeling/talent competitions globally. In January of 2022, she won “Best Junior Female Vocalist”, “Most sought-after Junior Female Talent”, among many, many other awards.
As her passion for music grew, she taught herself to play piano and guitar so that she could sing anytime; anyplace – (peep that Janet Jackson reference.) Discovering a love for country music, she dove into writing and playing. Writing is one of the best ways to share experiences and embrace this thing called life. Her debut single, “Country Back”, was born from just that. In the summer of 2022, Andi Jo found herself in the heart of country music – Nashville, Tennessee. She was invited to perform at open mic night at ‘The Commodore’. While equipped with a few original songs still, Andi Jo felt there was no better place to write a ‘country banger’. Released in June of 2023, “Country Back”, has surpassed 20,000 streams on all platforms and is still heavily streamed today. Since the song’s initial release, she has been working toward finishing her EP – slated for release this year.
Andi Jo is currently signed with the Heyman Talent Agency and the iGroup Model and Talent Agency. She just completed two short films, one feature film which is scheduled to premiere this summer! She was also just picked up for a TV show coming to a streaming platform near you! She has just been booked for the Country Concert in Ft. Loramie in July as well as the Country Legends Concert in West Liberty in August! She is also scheduled to headline the Cherry Fest in Whitehouse this summer! And let's not forget our local teams. Did you catch her vocals on Opening Day at the Toledo MudHens game?! Keep your eye out for Ohio’s Princess of Country!
